As a child, I remember sneaking over to the TV late at night just to play a few more minutes of my favourite game. The characters pulled me in as the story telling mesmerized me, at least until my mom would catch me and force me to go to bed. From then on I've been all about coding, crafting virtual worlds, and giving our real world a digital twist.
Over the past decade, I've solidified my position as a seasoned professional developer. My path has encompassed collaborations with prominent financial institutions like TD, prominent names in the gaming industry such as Ubisoft and Unity, and varied roles like educating at Fanshawe College. Beyond my work sphere, I craft games via my personal venture, Analog Casual Studios, and find pleasure in activities like cycling, kayaking, and woodworking.
Game Jams are my favourite developer events which is why I've helped organize the London Game Jam (LoJam) since the first event in 2017. My aim is to create an inclusive and creative environment for game dev experimentation and incubation.
Founded in 2014 Analog Casual Studios was my starting point in gaming. After creating my first game with a friend we decided to brand ourselves under the name Analog Casual Studios. The brand lives on as an umbrella to release personal projects under.
Taught INFO-6016 Network Programming, and created INFO-3120 Introduction to Programming Commercial Game Engines, as a Part-Time Professor at Fanshawe College's School of Information Technology.
Starting with the inaugural event in 2016, I was a principal organizer of Game Slice through my work at Joydrop Ltd. We aimed to provide free and professional feedback in this industry-only event focusing on unreleased games.
