Tasked with rapidly prototyping a game during the final exam week I allocated two days to complete a game in the Unity game engine.
The completed product became a randomly generating maze game. The player must complete mazes that grow in size and difficulty before time runs out. While generating a maze the distance from start to finish is calculated and the approximate time to solve the maze is added to the player’s overall timer. If a player completes a maze perfectly he will gain time that carries across levels. If the player is slow solving the maze he will need to use some of his banked time to survive. When the timer runs out the game is over.
This is a prototype that I hope to turn into a full game in the future.
